The appeal of Bercy Village

Located in the Bercy district, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, Bercy Village is a combined cultural hub, outdoor leisure facility and shopping centre consisting of some 46 retail outlets and eateries. The pedestrian-friendly layout and historic interest of the site makes it a great place for a stroll close to the Seine.

Locals as well as visitors to the capital like to head there to enjoy a spot of leisure and retail therapy with their partners, family, friends or alone. The site is served by the Cour Saint-Emilion Metro station and so is only 7 minutes from Châtelet via Metro line 14.

Bercy Village; a must-visit location in Paris

Bercy Village is one of the must-visit places in Paris. As well as being a great place for a shopping spree, this unusual open-air mall has been established on the site of what was, for over a hundred years in the 19th and 20th centuries, the world’s largest wine market.

Boutiques and restaurants now occupy the superbly restored wine warehouses of the area. Great care has been used in maintaining the original architecture, providing a touch of authenticity that has made Bercy Village a nationally and internationally renowned brand. The shops are set along both sides of the cobbled Cour Saint-Emilion, a large pedestrian artery some 12 metres wide. Open-air concerts and exhibitions are also staged regularly in this delightful setting.
