An ice-skating environment suitable for everyone
From December 13th, 2019 to January 8th, 2020, the splendid indoor temporary rink returns for the fifth time to the nave of the Grand Palais. This nearly 3,000m2 ice-skating arena welcomes all ages and all skill levels, so why not come and glide along to music, day or night, while experiencing the magic of this superb setting? Beginners and children can participate without worries as there’s a secure and supervised section of the rink where they learn to skate safely and securely. Meanwhile, seasoned skaters get to do jumps, pirouettes, axels, double-flips and more.... amidst majestic surroundings made even more splendid by cleverly designed light shows that inspire everyone to their best efforts!
A spectacular setting and a friendly atmosphere, day and night
So that skaters can take a breather, have a chat and enjoy the atmosphere of communal fun, relaxation spaces are provided all around the rink. These also ensure you have a comfortable seat from which to enjoy the shows and other entertainment that will be laid on at the venue.
Skating can certainly give you an appetite, but the Grand Palais des Glaces has that covered, too. At the Café Jules you can tuck into tasty hot dogs, waffles and other sweet or savoury treats.
And that’s not all, because the Grand Palais des Glaces ice rink goes full party mode in the evenings! The icy surface is then transformed into a huge dance floor inviting skaters-dancers to glide to the rhythm of light shows and a DJ set.
