We’re all music fans at Hotel Paris France, and stage musicals are our idea of the perfect night out. In Paris we’re really spoiled for choice, and we’d like to take the opportunity to tell you about some of our favourites.
Flashdance at Theatre du Gymnase
Flashdance is at the Theatre du Gymnase from September 23rd. This vibrant show tells the story of Alex, a young girl who works in Pittsburgh’s steel mills, but dreams of becoming a star dancer. This much loved show features all the hits of the 80’s, and you’ll soon be singing along to Gloria, Maniac, and What a Feeling.
Le Bal des Vampires at Theatre Mogador
Based on a famous Roman Polanski film, Le Bal des Vampires or Dance of the Vampires is an exhilarating romp through Transylvania with Professor Abronsius and his young assistant, Alfred. Share in their adventures as they search for vampires at Theatre Mogador from October 16th.
Love Circus at Folies Bergère
Voice 3 finalist Maximilien Philippe stars alongside Lola Ces and Sofia Mountassir in Love Circus at Folies Bergere from October 28th. The tale of two sisters who have pledged to never fall in love thanks to a strange curse affecting women in their family, this colourful show is inspired by the circus and of course, by love.
An American in Paris at Theatre du Chatelet
An American in Paris is at the Théâtre du Châtelet from November 22nd. American GI, Jerry now a painter in Montmartre, tries to win Lise a young salesgirl from Henry the singer who is in love with her. This George Gershwin classic features one of the most famous dance routines ever, and is sure to be a great night out.
All of these terrific shows can be reached by taxi from Hotel Paris France in 10 minutes or in just 25 minutes by metro. Now that we’ve given you a few ideas for an evening out in Paris, it would be unfair not to include a spectacular daytime event too. The Paris Motor Show is one of the city’s most eagerly awaited exhibitions and will feature top names in motoring such as Citroen, Porsche, Mercedes and Audi.
Paris Motor Show is a thrilling day out for all ages
Make a note in your diary for 4th to 19th October when the Paris Motor Show will take place at Portes de Versailles, which is within easy reach of Hotel Paris France. This iconic event takes place on even numbered years, and attracts thousands of visitors who come to see new and classic cars at the biggest exhibition in the world.
